    Good Witch Gone Bad

In a far chilling-cry from the standard LBD, this is the season of a witch not to be reckoned with. • NYFW: The Beauty Trends You Need To Know

    September 15, 2016

    Victoria Beckham

Fashion month is well and truly underway and with the first installment, New York's offering coming to a close, we've rounded-up the top beauty trends that washed the catwalks of the big apple. From belted hair styles, glitter lips and Snapchat inspired beauty there's more to NYFW that Kardashian/Jenner spotting don't-you-know.

Derek Lam | Herve Leger | Tibi | Alexander Wang

From the typical New York 'I didn't even do my hair look' at Derek Lam, to crown sweeping braids at Herve Leger, belted do's at Tibi and surfer girl beach hair at Alexander Wang, we've been given a serious dose of hair-spo.

Jason Wu | DKNY | Creatures of the WInd

The classic red lip is no ground-breaking beauty trend but we were happy to see it made a big return, bolder than ever before. Jason Wu described the redder-than-red shade 'Raver Red', an almost fluorescent shade which was also seen at Creatures Of The Wind. Stealing the show in the bold lip department was Pam McGrath who created sparkling red lips on Bella Hadid over at DKNY. The prize for the most Instagrammable lip goes to...

    Tibi | Rodarte

The zesty tangerine hue manis at Tibi have already got us thinking of our SS17 holidays- how great would they look by the pool, with a cocktail?! But in the meantime the Rodarte glitter effect will see us through the winter seasons as it's perfect for the party seasons.

Ohne Titel | DVF | Adam Selman

Eyes went water colour at NYFW with soft pinks and blues sweeping the peepers of models at Ohne Titel, DVF, Adam Selman and Victoria Beckham.

    Snapchat Inspired

Snapchat provided serious inspo at Desigual with models sporting all our favourite filters IRL. Yes, you heard us right... from everyone's favourite flower garland to that glorious butterfly headband and more questionably dog and deer face painting  Snapchat filters swept the SS17 catwalks.  We're not sure this one's going to take off.

  • Trend Report: Festival Beauty

    August 15, 2016

Festivals notoriously make keeping up with your beauty regime hard work. Lack of sleep and a decent mirror combined with the temperamental weather conditions make it hard to make sure your hair and beauty look is on point. Luckily for you we've rounded up our top hair and beauty looks to keep you looking fabulous whilst you dance in the fields. From clever hair tricks to avoid your worse for wear festival hair to embellished eyebrows, we've got you covered!

    Face Jewels/Glitter

    face jewels

The absence of your five step cleansing routine and the sleepless nights combined play havoc with your complexion. Thankfully glitter and face jewels are high on the festival beauty checklist so you can strategically conceal your breakouts and dark circles.

    French Braids

There's only so many pints of cider you can dodge and rain downpours you can endure before your hair ultimately gets frizzy, enter your new best friend, the French braid. Luckily the style's got a lot trendier than when you were at primary school and working a French plait or two will earn you serious style points.

    Bold Brows

    @rocky_barnes | Giambattista Valli A/W 2016 |

If you can't make a statement with your eyebrows at a festival than when can you?! Glitter, gems or multi-colour, when it comes to festival brows anything goes.

    Glitter Roots

No matter how much dry shampoo you use inevitably your hair is going to look much less voluminous and shiny than when you arrived. The glitter root is the perfect distraction.

    Hair Buns

Kendall Jenner| Jessica Woodley| Spell Designs

Since Miley brought back the 90s bun they've hardly left the beauty radar. Perfect for festivals, 90s inspired buns disguise greasy/frizzy hair perfectly.

    Foil Tattoos

    PicMonkey Collage

Ariana Grande | Beyonce | Alessandra Ambrosio

Temporary tatts are everywhere this festival season, we're especially loving gold and silver metallic designs to add the finishing touch to our festival look.
