As Valentine's day fast approaches, the inner conflict begins of finding the perfect look for the  occasion. Those lucky enough to be loved up aim to dress to impress, be they on dinner date or causal drinks. Meanwhile, singles prepare for evenings with the girls or an ever exciting first date. Striking the balance between an attention grabbing look that screams is more important than ever when it comes to encapsulating your own style within a look. Which is why we've put together a guide of dressing for any V Day occasion, ideal for achieving the 'just threw this on' look with no questions asked, we won't tell if you won't.

    Casual Cool

Keep things simple and throw together a simple white blouse with cute, printed shorts. The love affair of classic Casanova meets 1980's romanticism produces a modern twist on a classic look. The intricate detailing provided by the lace hem of the shorts add a feminine touch, we recommend a simple clutch for full effect. Bring things up to date with our Black Ankle Strap Platform Heels, the added height will provide legs for days, making the most of every asset.

    Co-ord Cute

Take note from Taylor Swift and join the co-ord love affair. Still hot for SS15, co-rds give the perfect chance to channel dressed down chic in an everyday look. Our silver paisley crop and skirt are perfect transitional pieces to take you through from Winter to Spring. Throw a boyfriend jacket over to keep warm in the cooler months or team with strappy shoes and hat to see you through a rare sunny day. Envision this look as causal date attire if the date is somewhere laid back and relaxed.

    Date Night

Going all out doesn't necessarily require hours of preparation. Style our sweetheart neckline Bandeau dress to ensure you get it right first time. Simple yet stylish, our dress holds all the cards when it comes to depicting a simplistic, evening look. Pair with statement necklace, clutch and our black barely there sandals. The geometric shape  of the shoes keeps things interesting whilst the classic colour epitomises date night chic. A winning combination to take you from dinner to dance floor and then some.

    Girl's Night Out

A valentine doesn't have to be a romantic interest. Celebrate in style and plan a night out with the girls to make the most of February 14th. Achieve the perfect night out glamour in our gorgeous floral, jacquard dress. A skater skirt is flattering for all shapes and sizes and the high neckline provides a much welcomed 1960's influence. The print is traditional yet modern as a combination of red and pink are clashed to evoke a vibrant, stand out look. With such a strong print, we recommend keeping accessories to a minimal, Try our white platform heels to keep shades bright and interesting, add a cute bag for good measure and you're good to go.

Prefer a night in? You don't have to miss the fun. Prove that style can equal comfort with ripped, vintage wash jeans paired with a pastel cosy jumper. The cosy texture of the jumper is ideal for staying snug when the last thing you feel like is leaving the house, heels not required. Style this look your way to ensure you still impress even at home. A perfect look to ensure the only decision you need to make is what to watch.

  • Spring Summer 2015 Sneak Peek

    January 21, 2015

With Christmas and New Years now over its hard not to get excited about the Summer months. Being able to go outside without multiple layers and your trusty fur collar to protect you against the Winter weather.  With January quickly drawing to a close it's time to start pre-planning those Spring/Summer looks. What trends will you take on this year?

At Glamorous HQ we thought we would give you a little sneak peak into what is set to be big this season on

One of the main trends to dominate next Season is boho. Unleash your inner gypsy with embellished tops and floor skimming maxi's. We love how diverse this trend can be. Keep it simple with a floaty long sleeved maxi and tousled hair for the ultimate bohemian look or play around with textures and layers by teaming pleats with a tassel suede kimono.

Intricate detailing is always a key player throughout the Summer months. This year, inspiration has been taken from the Romantic period by introducing crochet to coincide with the all time favourite lace. Crochet adds a new level of texture to next Seasons tops and dresses. Try a mix and match look, team a sheer lace dresses with a loose knitted crochet top for a sophisticated twist on the trend.

Go back to the classroom with the geometric trend. Parallel lines and symmetrical squares make up the majority of these on point prints. Introducing traditional styles like the classic stripe swing dress to a little more complex tile print co-ord. Taking pinstripe away from office wear to updating the existing check trend with pretty gingham styles, the geometric trend is sure to appeal to most personal styles.

The print collection for this Spring Summer 2015 delves into a variety of styles, from 70's prints and colours making a comeback to the traditional floral favourites, if printed styles make up the majority of your wardrobe, you are sure to add a few more statement pieces from our new collection to take you through the Season.

Other trends to look out for this Spring Summer 2015 at are:

Bright Whites: Take yourself away from the dark tones of AW and brighten up your style with some classic, crisp white pieces.

Utility: An updated version of the utilitarian trend, embrace the military look with army khaki tones and industrial shapes. Upgrading the masculine boiler suit with a touch of glamour.

Nautical: Let your SS15 wardrobe be sea-worthy. This Spring Summer, the classic trend has taken on a more contemporary style. Instead of looking like the generic 'Sailor', the nautical trend has been striped back to a more clean/wearable look. Parallel white and red stripes teamed with simple navy tailoring, the nautical trend has been modernised to position itself among the key runners for the top Spring Summer 2015 styles.

What trends are you looking forward to styling next Season?
